Girl Scouts:I have been a Girl Scout since I was in 2nd grade (2007). I was a Brownie for two years (2nd and 3rd grade), a Junior for two years (3rd and 4th grade), a Cadette for 3 years (6th, 7th, and 8th grade), a Senior for 2 years (9th and 10th grade), and an ambassador for two years (11th and 12th grade). During 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade I was a member of troop 31439. We learned a lot about the Girl Scouts program and all the opportunities that came with it and even began working on our bronze award, though our troop unfortunately disbanded before we were able to finish it. I then joined the oldest troop in Marin County, troop 32053, at the start of 6th grade and was with them through 12th grade when we passed our troop number down to a local brownie troop. As a member of troop 32053, I was able to earn my Silver Award in the summer of 2012 (after 6th grade).

I have attended my local day camp, Arequipa, since 2008. I was a camper at Arequipa for 4 years and completed my ANT (Aides iN Training) in 2012. In recent years I have staffed as a PA/CAA (Program Aid/Camp Arequipa Aid) and a JUL (Junior Unit Leader) and helped specifically with tags (the boys/siblings that come to camp), first graders, third graders, second graders, and fifth graders. In the summer of 2018 I was a DIT (Director In Training). My role was to decide the main programs of camp while putting my own spin on the activities I liked and changing the ones I didn't like from when I went to camp as a child, all while learning as much as I could on the professional side.
